Police Digital Service and Risk Ledger work together to manage third-party risk in UK Police forces.
London, UK, 11th November 2024 — Risk Ledger, a leading supply chain security company, today announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership with Police Digital Service (PDS) to support greater collaboration on third-party risk management (TPRM) across UK police forces. Risk Ledger is already helping large federated organisations or group structures, as well as communities of industry peers with overlapping supply chains, to identify shared concentration risks.
As well as achieve synergies and resource efficiencies by helping them coordinate their TPRM programmes. Risk Ledger and Police Digital Service are working on achieving similar benefits for UK police forces. The partnership aims to utilise Risk Ledger’s Defend-as-One approach, harnessing the power of networks to increase police forces’ collective operational resilience and security against supply chain attacks. Our proposed approach will enable Police Digital Service to better coordinate with all forces and implement a highly effective method for identifying, measuring, and mitigating shared supply chain risks. It will also increase response speeds to emerging supply chain attacks.
We look forward to building on the success of this approach in partnership with PDS and the police forces already using Risk Ledger. We hope to provide guidance for other police forces across the UK on the modalities and benefits that such a network approach could bring.
